Doosan Infracore announced on November 17 that it had won the most honored Platinum Prize at the 2016 Spotlight Awards held by the American Communications Federation (LACP), a global marketing research organization. The Spotlight Awards is a competition that evaluates the competitiveness of the public relations and communications materials of major global companies including Fortune 500 firms.
Doosan Infracore entered its 2015 Integrated Report, published in June 2016, in the competition and received the Platinum Prize, the highest among the platinum, gold, silver and bronze prizes awarded in the printed media category of integrated reports. The report also ranked 22nd in the general category, which selects the top 100 works among the entries, up 15 places from 37th in the previous year.
For this year’s competition, global companies submitted more than 1,500 works for assessment by the judging committee, which is composed of writers, designers, and financial experts. Doosan Infracore scored 99 out of 100 points, earning perfect scores in five out of six areas, including overall narrative, creativity, message clarity, and persuasiveness.
Meanwhile, Doosan Infracore's 2011 Sustainability Report was selected as a best practice in the creativity category in the UK's Corporate Register Reporting Awards (CRRA), while its 2014 Integrated Report was awarded the Gold Prize at the LACP 2015 Spotlight Awards.
