The 2012 China Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, which contains the CSR activities performed by the China locations, became available on September 24. The report is prepared and published by the Chinese locations and contains the CSR activities of DICI, DICC, DISD, DISC and DIY.
The 2012 China CSR Report is made up of five sections: Advanced Technology, Quality Management, Cultivation of Human Resources, Protection of the Environment and Shared Growth. The report also includes information about Doosan’s CSR system and the Doosan Way. The report received four out of five stars from the Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility Evaluation Committee, and was recognized as an excellent report. The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences reported the following: “After examining the report, we found that it has a clear structure in readability and innovation. Also, the report reflects the corporate values accurately through the analysis of the company’s performance.”
Around seventy people, including DICE AP/E & China Sales Division Vice President Heeeun Ahn, who is also the head of DICI, DICC Sales & Marketing Executive Managing Director Lan Jiang, Korean Embassy to China Official Choongmyun Lee and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Center of Corporate Social Responsibility Research Chief Hongmoo Jong, attended the announcement ceremony. Vice President Ahn introduced the company’s performance and various CSR activities completed since the company started business in China in 1994, and promised that the company will actively fulfill its CSR duties moving forward. Three outstanding editors from the editing team also received appreciation plaques for their work.
