On July 1, Doosan Infracore (President Yongsung Kim) announced that the Company has published the 2012 Integrated Report which addresses the Company’s vision, strategy, and corporate social responsibility.

The new report is characterized by the integration of the contents in the 2 existing formats – the Sustainability Report and the Annual Report, which is a global trend. Doosan Infracore comprehensively outlines financial achievements, environmental and social activities in the report. The report will lead the stakeholders to easily understand the company’s mid to long-term value.

The report shows the company’s successful recovery in the North American market despite the slow global economy as well as expansion of market share for the machine tools business in the North American and European markets, resulted from regionally specialized strategies. The company’s efforts and achievements such as development of eco-friendly compact diesel engines are also included in the book.

The Integrated Report will be published in 4 different languages including Korean, English, Chinese and Portuguese. The report will be posted to the company website in a PDF format.

Meanwhile, Doosan Infracore’s 2011 Sustainability Report published last year, received a prize in the creativity sector of the 2012 Corporate Register Reporting Awards(CRRA), presented by the Corporate Register(CR) of Britain. Doosan Infracore was listed as a winner with other multinational corporations such as Dell, Coca Cola and Royal Dutch Shell. The CRRA is the world’s most prestigious award recognizing the sustainability reports published by corporations worldwide.
