Doosan Infracore Honored with Grand Prize in ‘100 GWP in Korea’ for two Consecutive Years

Doosan Infracore won the Grand Prize again, after last year, in the manufacturing category of the “100 Great Work Places in Korea 2012,” which was hosted by Great Work Place Korea at the 63 Building in Yeouido, Seoul, on October 25. CEO Yongsung Kim of the Company was also honored with the Best Manager Prize in the manufacturing category.

Doosan Infracore received high marks for flexible organizational culture, members’ voluntary participation in company activities, and its management team’s continuous interest in ensuring a sound corporate culture.

Doosan Infracore has been establishing an organizational culture wherein staff members voluntarily contribute their ideas through the “Idea Bank,” which invites members to freely suggest and hold discussions; a CORE campaign to construct a work environment in which members can efficiently focus on tasks; and the Pride Interview where members can freely share their success stories and sense of pride with each other.

CEO Yongsung Kim of Doosan Infracore said, “We will continue our organizational culture activities designed to promote open communication so that the Company will make the list of the “100 best work places in the world.”

GWP, based in the U.S., has been selecting the best work places in more than 40 countries worldwide. GWP Korea has been developing the list in Korea since 2002.
