On March 29, Doosan Infracore provided Inha Technical College and Dongyang Mirae University with one engine, which can be used as an educational tool, and each with a 10 million won scholarship. The Company had earlier signed a memorandum of understanding with each university. It will also provide the same assistance to Kunjang University College and Yeungjin College, with which it has also exchanged MOUs.

To nurture and recruit skilled technical human resources, Doosan Infracore last year signed MOUs with the four colleges operating the “Doosan Class,” a customized technical and engineering program.

The engines donated this time are 6 – 8 liter class electronically controlled engines, which can be used in practical training lessons, including assembly and disassembly. They have been provided to present the colleges in industry-academia ties with practical and multifaceted assistance.

Vice President of Shared Service Division Ohshick Shin said, “After we formed partnerships with good technical colleges in provincial regions last year, we are now stepping up our efforts to nurture the technical human resources the Company needs.” He added, “The Company will continue to provide assistance to ensure that the development of manpower with technical expertise can generate a synergism with the education of customized human resources.”

Through its recruitment program for the second half of this year, Doosan Infracore will hire talented students from among those who complete “Doosan-customized” technical education at the relevant colleges.
