A New Year’s event for DICC dealers was held from January 12 to 15 at the Shilla Hotel on Jeju Island.
Some 160 employees and their spouses from Doosan Infracore China Co. as well as dealers of DICC excavators and wheel loaders attended the event. Doosan Infracore held the event to thank them for their hard work, which has been instrumental in the legendary success of Doosan excavators in China, and to reinforce a win-win partnership with China.
Chairman Yong-Man Park spoke at the dinner party on the evening of January 13. He stated that for Doosan Infracore to become “a first-class global company,” Doosan will: “▲seek to maximize synergy with the three compact construction equipment units (formerly of Ingersoll Rand) in the US ▲strengthen our competitiveness and secure opportunities as the economy rebounds ▲build an operational infrastructure that’s up to the global standard, bolster internal competencies and secure the platform for future growth, and ▲strengthen our win-win relationships with distributors, suppliers and other business partners.”
“Doosan is nurturing ambitious aspirations on the global stage. We understand that the Chinese market and our collaboration are the key to the realization of our plans and will remain at the forefront of the effort to build a more beautiful China as soon as possible,” he added.
DICC sold a record-breaking 12,000 excavators last year, and was the first company in the Chinese excavator industry to sell a total of 60,000 excavators. The company has played a vital role in leading Doosan’s global vision by maintaining the top market share for seven consecutive years and the top customer satisfaction ratings for six consecutive years.
Also, by completing the construction of a wheel loader factory with a production capacity of 8000 units per year in Shandong last December, DICC has laid the foundation for Doosan to become China’s top comprehensive construction machine manufacturer.
