Researcher Dong-In Lee Presents a Paper on Diesel Engine Emission Reduction at International Academi

Researcher Dong-In Lee of Doosan Infracore’s Engines & Materials BG presented a paper on the company’s diesel engine emission reduction technology at The Diesel Emissions Conference Asia 2009.
The paper describes how diesel engine efficiency was maximized by greatly reducing fuel consumption and emissions of various toxic chemicals such as nitrogen oxide through development of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, an after-treatment device for diesel emissions. The paper also announced the compliance of Doosan’s vehicular diesel engines with the upcoming 2010 European regulations.
The Diesel Emissions Conference Asia, held May 11-12 in Beijing, China, is a seminar given to industry personnel, including CEOs of Chinese and other key foreign companies, government officials and researchers. The event was attended by members of the automotive and engine industries from across the globe, who plan to enter the Chinese market.
Leading global companies competed in showing off their best technologies. Doosan Infracore represented Korea and boasted its advanced and superior diesel engine technology.
