Doosan Infracore was selected by the Corporate Governance Service (CGS) as a company with outstanding corporate governance in 2009.
The “corporate governance assessment,” carried out by Korea Exchange’s CGS, has been implemented every year since 2001 on domestic stock-listed companies and companies listed on KOSDAQ for the purpose of improving corporate governance and establishing stockholder-oriented management through the selection of outstanding companies.
This was the second consecutive year in which Doosan Infracore was selected. In this year’s assessment, Doosan Infracore scored highly for making improvements and achieving transparency in its protection of stockholder’s rights, management of the board of directors, provisions from public announcement and distribution of management errors.
The award ceremony was held on June 29 at the Korea Exchange in Yeouido. In the stock market division, Jeonbuk Bank and SK Energy received the grand prize, while Doosan Corporation, including Doosan Infracore, SK Telecom, Woori Financial Group and the Korea Electric Power Corporation received outstanding governance awards.
Doosan Infracore can publicly announce and promote the fact that the company has received the award on the company website and other announcement outlets and attend domestic and international IRs supervised by the Korea Exchange.
