Doosan Infracore has received the “AA rating” in the 2009 CP evaluation carried out by the Fair Trade Commission. Doosan Infracore received the AA rating as it scored highly across all fields, including the will of the CEO, adherence to voluntary guidelines, CP training and fair trade reporting.

Of the 54 companies that were evaluated, none received the AAA rating. Six companies, including Doosan Infracore and Hyundai Motors, received the AA rating. By raising its rating to AA from an A rating in 2007, Doosan Infracore is ranked in the highest tier (top 2%) of the 380 companies that have introduced the CP system.

The company will benefit from a 15% reduction in penalties and 18-month immunity from compulsory investigations. It is also letting the world know of the fair competition system it has adopted and is managing, as a global leader in the industry. Doosan Infracore officials expect the rating to seal its image as an exemplary company that carries out transparent and ethical management.

Doosan Infracore introduced the CP system in November 2002. Since then, the company has led the way in the systematic management of the CP program by providing regular subcontractor and fair trade training for executives and staff members and holding in-house CP forums and workshops.

Additionaly, since last July, Doosan Infracore has been striving to spread a culture of fair trade and win-win cooperation among subcontractors by becoming first in the industry to provide support for subcontractors in their introduction of CP and by offering training and consulting.

Doosan Infracore will continue to exert itself to contribute to the establishment of free and fair competition and transparent management, which will become the core elements in global competition.
