Doosan Infracore Chine Co. (DICC) engaged in aggressive marketing activities at Bauma China 2008, held in Shanghai December 25-28. More than 1,200 companies were at the show, which drew around 120,000 visitors during its four-day run.
DICC set up a massive (1,320m2) booth to display a wide range of new product offerings. These included excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts and engines manufactured by Doosan as well as skid steer loaders, compressors and attachments from Bobcat. Presenting the two brands side by side helped to raise the synergy effect and project a solid image as a market leader.
Both brands boast some of the world’s best competitiveness. Importantly, Doosan Infracore introduced a wheel loader lineup that has been under development for the past two years. These machines promise to satisfy diverse customer needs various operating environments. They have been judged superior to other wheel loaders available in China in terms of failure rate, durability, hours of continuous operation and operator comfort.
The DICC booth included an area for product demonstrations, which were enthusiastically received by dealers and the general public alike. They watched excavators being tele-operated by a master-slave control system, which enables the machine to follow the hand or leg movements of a person standing a distance away. The crowd was also impressed by the quality and technological sophistication of the Bobcat skid steer loaders in action.
Doosan Mottrol Invites 200 Employees from Chinese Excavator Company
Doosan Mottrol participated in the Bauma China 2008 exhibition of travelling motors, swing motors, main pump sections, and hydraulic products for excavators.
At this exhibition, Doosan Mottrol announced to 1,500 visitors that it will shortly be affiliated to Doosan Group in a bid to secure take-off to the future.. Doosan Mottrol was also able to introduce its new products, including a high-efficiency, low-noise TPA pump, to the great interest of the visitors. On the evening of the second day, the company invited about 200 employees from a Chinese excavator company to a “Doosan Mottrol Night” to reward them for their support. Doosan Mottrol and the Chinese excavator company have agreed to continue their cooperative relationship.
