Contributing to Build a Korean School in Yantai

DICC donated over US$300,000 (the equivalent of the amount received for the sale of its 30,000th excavator in China) toward the first international school for Koreans to be built in Yantai city. The project expands educational and cultural opportunities for Koreans, boosting pride in the national heritage.
When completed, the facility will have classrooms for all primary and secondary school grades, a wing for faculty, a dormitory, a cafeteria and indoor gymnasium. The total project cost will be close to US$3.5 million, with half of the money coming from the Korean government and the rest being provided by Korean companies working in Yantai.
This project is part of an ongoing drive to localize operations and give back to the community. Doosan Infracore operates excavator, forklift truck and machine tool plants in the Yantai area.
