Doosan's Liquor Business Group was Korea's largest exporter of alcoholic beverages in 2005. Statistics compiled by the Korea Alcohol and Liquor Industry Association show that total exports for the industry were down 11.4% form 2004, while the Doosan Liquor BG saw its exports rise 11.4% to comprise 55.5% of all Korean-made alcoholic beverages sold outside the country.


Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction concluded a US$80 million contract to supply four 1,181MW steam generators for use at two new reactors being installed at the Sequoyah nuclear power plant, in Tennessee, USA.
