PLP Session 2

--A stronger organization will ensure strategic tasks are completed and corporate vision is realized.
--The training is being expanded to all BGs.

Trainees from the Construction Equipment and Industrial Vehicle Business Groups completed the first session of the 4-week Performance Leadership Program in February. The second session opened on March 13 and runs through April 12 at the Doosan Leadership Institute. This time around, the 19 trainees have been selected from all five company BGs.
The program covers such topics as the 7-step Problem-solving Method, which provides the basic skills needed for conducting work independently. Theoretical knowledge is applied in the real world during the Mini-projects and Workshops. Following the Experiential Learning Method, trainees are also required to apply what they are taught to the strategic tasks faced by their respective BGs.
The opening day (March 13) was attended by Pres. Choe Sung-chul, Engine & Materials BG Chief & Sr. VP Park Dae-kyung, and Defense Product BG Chief & Sr. VP Um Hang-seok. The senior executives encouraged the new trainees to do their best during the coming four weeks and stressed the importance of the training:
"We want to strengthen our organization so that our corporate vision is realized. The PLP systematically develops our human resources, allowing us to reach global standards for organizational competency. Our goal is to grow individuals and the company together, and the company is providing full support for the PLP for these reasons."
