In 2005, the Doosan Group achieved a record W10 trillion in sales and is aiming for operating income of W1 trillion in 2006. Doosan Infracore will play a key role in this endeavor, as it represents at least half of the Group's total sales and operating income. The Korea Economic Daily newspaper points to President Choe Sung-chul as the person most responsible for Doosan Infracore's dynamic growth. He has spent his entire career in the machinery business and is famous for his astute business sense. President Choe places greater weight on long-term revenue rather than on short-term gains.
