Doosan Infracore is striving to cultivate Chinese operations into a “second domestic market.” As part of this effort, the company has begun to train selected local staff at Doosan Infracore China Co. as change agents who can effectively lead the subsidiary toward long-term goals. The trainees attended the Value Sharing Program between January 8 and 12 to build a consensus on the corporate vision and strategies and to bolster their capabilities to reach that vision.
The program covered such topics as the Doosan Group stature today and future strategic direction, Doosan Infracore’s management strategies and vision, the importance of overseas subsidiaries, and the main concepts and results of operational innovation activities being pursued by the Head Office. The trainees were given problem solving exercises to hone their skills and they had an opportunity to increase their knowledge of global management trends.
