Doosan Infracore received the Grand Prize in the Large Manufacturer category at the 14th annual Safety Management Awards, cosponsored by the Korean Ministry of Labor and Maeil Business Newspaper on December 12.

The awards recognize those companies that have established exemplary occupational health and safety systems, helping to motivate others to do the same and enhance their competitiveness.

Doosan Infracore has built an industrial accident prevention program to protect both workers and the environment. The program is designed to correct worker health and safety hazards, provide worker training, and incorporate safety records in overall worker performance assessments. Operation of the program is in step with the company's management priorities on environmental health and safety issues. The consistent goal is to achieve a workplace that is free of accidents, occupational illness and fires.
