7 New Electric Lift Truck Models

- AC motor increases energy efficiency by 20%.
- Ergonomically designed cab boosts operability.

Doosan Infracore is ready to begin selling seven new electric-powered forklifts designed for greater energy efficiency and lower maintenance costs. They are equipped with AC motors and have lifting capacities ranging from 2 to 3.2 tons. Most important are the major upgrades to energy efficiency, lift truck stability and operator convenience.

To begin with, the brushless AC drive and pump motors are at lest 20% more energy efficient than their DC counterparts. Utilization rate is improved and batteries last longer as a result. The oil-cooled disc brakes also contribute to lower maintenance costs.

The forklifts can be set on one of three different modes to suit specific operation conditions and operator preferences, raising productivity and vehicular stability. The cab is ergonomically designed to facilitate work efficiency.

The new models boast a much greater range of safety features such as mast interlock system, steering angle-sensitive speed limiter, automatic seatbelt retractor, and parking brake alarm.

Three of the new models (the BC20/25/30S) are designed for exclusive indoor use. They have a minimal operation radius to facilitate operation in limited spaces. Their unique technological features make them a standout among all Korean-made electric forklifts.

Executive Vice President Kim Woong-bum of the Industrial Vehicle BG says, "Our new models are now commercially available, boosting our dominance in the domestic forklift market. At the same time, we are now in a better position to compete head-to-head with the major players overseas. We will step up our marketing activities in order to increase exports."
