After two product evaluations, Doosan Infracore was selected last August 31 to supply twenty-three specially modified lift trucks to the British Airways World Cargo Center at London's Heathrow Airport. Delivery of the twenty-on B18X-5-ACs (electric), one B18T5-AC (electric) and one D25S-3 (diesel) began on December 5 and was concluded on schedule three days later. The handover included test drives of the new equipment and operator training.

A special ceremony on December 8 celebrated the completion of delivery. Also in attendance was Doosan's British national dealer, Rushlift Mechanical Handling, which will be responsible for after-sales maintenance and repair of the high-performance machines.

Des Alderson, Support and Equipment Business Manger for British Airways World Cargo, released a statement on December 14:

"Over the past ten years we have invested £500 million in developing BAWC's infrastructure, and it is vital that we have equipment that delivers on our business objectives. Following a supplier review, it became apparent that together Rushlift and Doosan were best placed to assist us in achieving this, and we are confident this new equipment will make a valuable difference to our operations."
