Doosan Infracore China Co. exhibited fourteen excavator models, five lift truck models and five engine models at BAUMA China 2006, which opened in Shanghai November 21-24. The company organized various PR and marketing activities in conjunction with the Shanghai show. The "Doosan" brand was prominently displayed on the excavators and lift trucks in preparation for launch of a single, unified brand next year.

The company also unveiled the new DX225 excavator, which will go on the chinese market next February. The DX225 is an important addition for the company's mid-/long-term strategies to succeed. It requires less maintenance; down time will be cut 30% or more compared with conventional models, while the DX225 will is designed to last 30% longer than other excavators in its class.
