FLTA Safety Conference 2006 was held at Warwick University, in Coventry, England on September 19. R&D Chief Park Keun-bae gave a presentation on Doosan's award-winning B15-T steering angle control system.
  Forklift trucks accounted for twenty-four of the 5,427 workplace transport injuries to workers reported in 2004 and 2005. This conference aims to raise awareness of common safety issues and their solution. Dr. Park explained the benefits of the Active Safety System-fitted as standard to the new Doosan range of electric forklifts. Of special note is the system's ability to reduce truck speed during cornering, resulting in better and safer maneuverability.
