Doosan Infracore plans to establish a holding company in China as part of the effort to create a "second home market". The company submitted a request to the Chinese authorities and permission was granted. Therefore, the new company will be ready to go after the legal procedures are completed.

Doosan Infracore aims to be in fifth place by 2010 and therefore has decided to expand excavator output at the Belgian plant from 1,500 units to 5,000 units. The project will involve an investment of some W80 billion.
