--Top honors received in Precision Measurement Capability.

Managing Dir. Ko Geong from the Center for Product Reliability accepted the Prime Minister’s Prize for Precision Measurement Capability on behalf of Doosan Infracore at the 37th annual Korea Precision Industry Technology Conference awards. The event was held at the Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul on November 21 and more than 500 people from precision device manufacturers and instrumentation companies were in attendance. “Precision Measurement Capability” covers measurement and testing laboratories that are government sponsored or privately run. The Doosan Infracore Center for Product Reliability was deemed to be the best in this category for 2007.
This awards program is co-hosted held each year by the Korea Testing Laboratory and the Korea Association of Standards and Testing Organizations under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy. It is the most prestigious and has the longest history of any domestic award for precision technology. The organizers seek out and honor individuals and organizations that have made exemplary contributions to precision industrial and measuring technologies, which are essential for national industrial advancement and competitiveness.
