A delegation of top brass from the Singapore military, including 25th Armored Division Commander BG Wong Ann Chai and Defense Science & Technology Agency Deputy Director NG Bor Kiat, visited Changwon Plant 2 on January 13. They discussed the supply of components for upgrading their armored vehicles and surveyed the production lines for the next-generation armored personnel carriers (APCs) co-developed by Doosan Infracore and the Korean Agency for Defense Development (ADD).
The Singaporeans were received by Defence R&D Center President Do Jin-young and briefed on the plant and military hardware. The delegation also visited the ADD testing facility at Jinyeong, Korea, where the APCs are in their final testing phase. The visitors were profuse in their praise of Doosan Infracore's production capabilities and showed extreme interest in the APCs.
