Eddie Stobart, the UK's largest independent logistics company, selected Doosan Infracore over many big name rivals in an international tender for an additional order of forklift trucks. The decision was prompted by the customized modifications as well as the outstanding durability and operator comforts provided by the Doosan GC30S-5s. Eddie Stobart employees said they were especially pleased with the auto-tilt leveling feature and overall ease of operation. LB Materials Handling, a Doosan forklift dealer based in the UK, is responsible for supplying and maintaining the lift trucks. Doosan Infracore UK General Sales Manager Darren White has played a key role in ensuring that Doosan Infracore, the distributor and the customer are all working closely together: "This deal with Eddie Stobart will help us to secure new orders from other leading logistics companies in Europe. We plan to continue our marketing effort in order to increase our forklift sales." Eddie Stobart operates warehouses at twenty locations throughout the UK and has worked closely with Crown Bevcan, a maker of steel and aluminum cans for the food and beverage industry, for the past seventeen years.
