Doosan Infracore engaged in vigorous PR activities at CONEX Korea 2007, held at KINTEX (the Korea International Expo Center) in Goyang (just north of Seoul) September 6-10. The company has been in the global spotlight lately after acquiring Bobcat from Ingersoll-Rand and looked the part of a global construction equipment manufacturer by occupying the largest booth (1,350m2), situated prominently in the middle of Korea’s largest construction equipment trade show. On display were twenty-tree different next-generation models, including eighteen excavators and wheel loaders, three forklift trucks and two engines. Every piece of this equipment was built with the company’s latest technology and know-how, and has been enthusiastically received in the global marketplace. True to its leadership position, Doosan Infracore unveiled the world’s first electric powered and hybrid excavators, which attracted much attention during the show.

In addition to the exhibits, the company organized a “Technical Zone” to inform showgoers on the advanced technologies that go into Doosan Infracore products and to let them witness how the technology works. Various events staged at the booth show were also well received by booth visitors.
This year was its sixth time that CONEX Korea has been held since its inaugural show in 1988. Over 250 domestic and foreign companies were in attendance, and more than 50,000 people visited during the five-day run.
