Katrina Relief Effort Continues

Doosan Infracore machines have been helping volunteers to restore property damaged by Hurricane Katrina in Biloxi, Mississippi. So far, forty lots have been cleared for families to receive trailer homes from the government. In addition, five businesses and five churches have been restored.
In addition to a S140LCV crawler excavator and M160TC wheeled loaders, DIAC lent a G25P lift truck, which is being used for loading and unloading trucks since around Christmas. The machine has freed up many volunteers to focus on cleanup work.
Resident Fred Griswold said, "The people of Biloxi know about Doosan and what the company has done for us. There isn't a person I know that I have not told about Doosan's generosity."
Volunteer Richard Scott adds, "Be sure to tell everyone back at Doosan Infracore that if it weren't for your machines, we could not be in a position to keep helping where it is needed most."
