On June 22, Doosan Infracore South Africa invited more than 100 people from customer and supplier companies to commemorate the subsidiary’s 10th anniversary and celebrate aggregate sales of one thousand excavators. At the event, Managing Director & DIS Chief Lee Sang-gu declared:
  "We have been bolstered by our customers’ undying support for Doosan equipment, making possible the achievements we mark today. DIS is a genuine partner that seeks to grow along with our customers. We will remain committed to this goal in the future."
  Prior to the event, the company presented 15 VIP customers (ones who have purchased at least ten Doosan machines) with chrome-plated models of Doosan excavators, as a token of gratitude for their business. During the event, the visitors had a chance to see the latest Doosan machines on display, and then everyone enjoyed a sumptuous meal.
  Doosan Infracore South Africa was established in 1997 and currently holds 12% of the South African excavator market.
