Doosan Infracore Europe organized a training program on the full range of wheel loaders (DL200-DL500) at its Belgian facility in June. Technicians from all over Europe honed their skills during the three and a half days of instruction. The theoretical aspects of the program mainly focused on the proper test processes to obtain results matching the "performance sheets," the locations of the maintenance ports and the ideal maintenance interrals. They covered an in-depth analysis of the electric and hydraulic operating concepts and gained a thorough understanding of the engines.
  The trainees spent more than half the time in front of loose components or loaders identifying the location of all components. They also learned key points regarding component operation and practiced troubleshooting the machines in the test yard.
  Thorough understanding of a product requires a balance between theory and practice. Such knowledge is key for minimizing machine downtime, bolstering the Doosan image in Europe. The program was wrapped up with a fruitful question-and-answer session, after which DIEU President D.W. Lee presented certificates of course completion.
