The 13th International Industrial and Materials Handling Exhibition was held in Bologna, Italy May 9-12. The 15,000m2 venue attracted some 300 exhibitors and more than 25,000 visitors. MOVINT is one of the triennial events in Europe, along with CeMAT in Hannover and the Salon de la Manutention in Paris, recognized and sponsored by the European Materials Handling Federation.
  Doosan took part in MOVINT for the first time, working to further the Doosan brand image and to promote next-generation electric and diesel forklifts. Doosan was assisted by DIEU’s Italy sales office.
  Visitors to the clean and bright Doosan booth were impressed by what they saw. Competing companies also took notice. Coordinated public relations resulted in contacts with numerous trade journalists, boosting the corporate image through editorials following the trade show.
