  Doosan Infracore continues to invest in order to improve the work life of all employees. At the end of April, for example, some US$80,000 was earmarked for new artificial turf to cover the dirt football field at Changwon Plant 1. The new field, which opened on July 7, measures 75 by 108 meters, the standard for international play. Now players have benches on the sidelines along with new drinking water fountains and places for washing their hands and faces. The new surface eliminates fugitive dust and the field can be used for various functions besides playing football.
  Such investments in on-site facilities enhance the work environment and promote employee wellbeing. Morale and productivity are raised as a result.
  Recently, the company has remodeled the dining halls and installed fitness centers at its plants located in Incheon, Ansan and Changwon. Other improvement projects are now on thedrawing board.
