On July 7, Doosan Infracore China Co. held a party for all employees at the Yantai plant to celebrate their aggregate sales of 30,000 excavators. The excavator plant was completed in 1996 and has been in operation for a decade. The unprecedented record was actually reached last April for the first time in China. And the company wanted to thank its people and acknowledge their hard work by organizing the event. Among the more than 1,200 people in attendance were China Holding Co. President Kang Dae-ryong and executives from the Head office in Korea.
Entertainment was provided by a dance troupe and artists wearing traditional Chinese masks. The employees also had fun getting into the act during the talent show, and everyone enthusiastically took part in the raffle drawing.
  During this event, sixteen employees from the Head office handling businesses in China also came and got the chance to meet their Chinese counter-partners in person. Overall, the event boosted morale and helped strengthen solidarity.
