The Doosan Infracore Head Office in Korea and subsidiary in China jointly showed lift trucks at the China Exhibition of Materials Handling, Automation Technology Transport Systems & Logistics, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre November 28-Dec. 1. This is the largest trade show of its kind in China, with over 200 manufacturers and parts suppliers from 13 countries taking part in the lift truck category alone. More than 50,000 people visited the fair during its 4-day run.
The Doosan Infracore booth exhibited eight models in all, including a 3-ton diesel-powered lift truck developed specifically for China, a 2.5-ton electric-powered model, and the 1-ton "reach-type" series. The lineup was the largest among the forklift makers at the fair, providing Doosan Infracore with an opportunity to impress the showgoers with its technological depth. Many new orders (around 250 units, worth some US$4.3 million) were also concluded, testimony to the company's excellent product quality and performance.
