Doosan Infracore America introduced four excavators (DX300LC, DX340LC, DX420LC and DX480LC) and two wheel loaders (DL300 and DL400) to about 100 North American dealers and customers at a launch event in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 3. In addition to receiving in-depth product training, these dealers and customers were among the first to operate the new machines, which feature better durability, reliability and comfort, while being cleaner for the environment.
  “These models have some very nice improvements, the most noticeable are the finish and quality,” said Jeff Baumgardner, Branch Manager of J. W. Burress and dealer host of the event. “I was impressed by the professionalism of the launch event. Doosan did an excellent job presenting these new machines.”
  “This was a hands-on opportunity for Doosan dealers and customers to operate the new models and educate themselves on added features,” said Meghann McKinley, Doosan Infracore Marketing Manager.
  The participants were invited to compete in a machine operating contest while getting valuable stick-time with the new equipment. The winners of the excavator category contests were Rob Bonnstetter of RTL Equipment Inc. in Iowa, and Mark Stephens of Crawler Equipment Sales Inc. in Georgia. The winner of the wheel loader category was Corky Koopmans of Gregware Equipment Company in Michigan.
  Other launch events were subsequently held in Fort Worth, Texas, and Millstone, New Jersey. Dealerships throughout the country now sell and rent these new models.
