DNV, the Norwegian quality management assessment organization, conferred its ISO Award on the Doosan Infracore Machine Tool & Factory Automation BG. Award candidates must maintain excellent operation of their ISO 9001 quality management system for five or more years in a row.
The Business Group first acquired ISO 9001 certification in 1993 and has continued to carry out quality management activities by improving productivity and standardizing work procedures. Receipt of this award further bolsters the trustworthiness of the company's machine tools in the eyes of customers. The Machine Tool & Factory Automation BG now plans further improvements by applying a unique and sophisticated quality management strategy model and the Six Sigma program to its ISO9001 quality management system.
