HD Hyundai Infracore, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai’s construction equipment business (CEO Cho Young-cheul, Oh Seung-hyun), is expanding its sales channel by supplying construction equipment to various projects in the Saudi market.

HD Hyundai Infracore announced on the 20th (Tues.) that it has signed a supply contract involving a total of 100 construction equipment including excavators and wheel loaders with a Saudi comprehensive construction company, SAPAC, and Nesma & Partners Contracting.

According to this contract, HD Hyundai Infracore will consecutively supply the client with 20 50-ton large excavators, 40 20-ton medium-size excavators, and 40 large wheel loaders—for a total of 100 construction equipment—up to the end of this month.

The relevant equipment will be utilized in the Riyadh Ring Road project for developing an outer ring road in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, by 2027.

With demand for construction equipment slowing down due to global uncertainty, HD Hyundai Infracore has been pushing ahead with winning orders from key customers in emerging markets, securing both sales and profitability, and engaging in strategy for strengthening the competitiveness of channels since earlier this year.

Especially in Saudi Arabia, the company focused its business power on the capital Riyadh where its transportation infrastructure is being expanded by attracting the "2030 Expo" following the existing NEOM city project, having achieved the result of winning the recent order.

Furthermore, HD Hyundai Infracore established RTC (Regional Training Center) in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, and it is seeking to strengthen service quality by enhancing the technical capacity of people in charge of the Middle East region services and improving customer satisfaction.

“The company succeeded in winning a large order in the Saudi market where investments for large infrastructure have been continuing by providing products and services considering the needs of customers. We will enhance brand credibility through continuous management of key customers and strive to win additional orders,” an official of HD Hyundai Infracore said.
