HD Hyundai’s construction equipment business subsidiary HD Hyundai Infracore signed a business agreement (MOU) with Doosan Bobcat on May 23, 2024 (Thursday) at DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo to expand the mutual supply of construction equipment in the North American region.

The signing ceremony was attended by CEO Young-cheul Cho of HD Hyundai Infracore and Vice Chairman Scott Park of Doosan Bobcat. Under the agreement, the two companies have agreed to expand their current line of mutually supplied products.

HD Hyundai Infracore will begin selling Doosan Bobcat's small construction equipment in addition to its own, with Doosan Bobcat receiving HD Hyundai Infracore's medium-sized equipment to expand its local product lineup. These products will be sold throughout the North American market under their respective brands through each company's dealer networks.

This agreement is based on the two companies' shared long-term growth strategy of “expanding brand influence in developed markets” as well as their confidence in their own product lines.

HD Hyundai Infracore and Doosan Bobcat plan to leverage each other's complementary product lines to expand their sales portfolio and acquire new customers, thereby increasing their market share in North America.

In particular, the partnership is expected to help both companies strengthen their foothold in the North American market by meeting the recent market demand for a full lineup of construction equipment from the same brand.

"This expansion of our strategic partnership is intended to grow our market pie. We will continue our business partnership with Doosan Bobcat, which has been supplying us with the latest emission-compliant engines, and together we will increase our market share with high-quality products," said Young-cheul Cho, CEO of HD Hyundai Infracore.

Vice Chairman Scott Park of Doosan Bobcat said they are pleased to strengthen further their partnership with HD Hyundai Infracore. "We expect the expansion of our product lineup to provide Doosan Bobcat customers and dealers with more choices and opportunities,” he added.
