Hyundai Doosan Infracore won a contract to supply 8,000 engines to an Italian agricultural machinery manufacturer.
HDI participated in Europe’s one of top 3 agricultural machinery exhibitions, EIMA international 2022, held in Bologna, Italy for 5 days from Nov. 9 to 13, and signed a supply agreement with Goldoni Keestrack based in Italy to supply 8,000 engines.
HDI will supply small-sized G2 diesel engines that will go into agricultural machines including tractors produced by Goldoni over the span of 5 years beginning from the first half of next year.
HDI’s G2 engine is a highly efficient model equipped with HDI’s own ULFC technology that meets the latest, most rigorous stage V emissions standards. HDI’s G2 engine boasts higher output than its previous model and the lowest level of fuel and engine oil consumption compared to other products in the same class size. Its compact design makes it easier to be installed to any space regardless of its size.
* ULFC : Ultra Low Fuel Consumption, HDI’s patented innovative technology optimizing fuel combustion by reducing fuel consumption but with increased output.
Goldoni is known to have chosen HDI to be its engine supplier because its engine boasts overall superiority with eco-friendliness, high efficiency, quality, and price competitiveness and also because it is suitable for Europe’s tractors with its compact design.
Head of Sales & PS Hyungtaek Lim of HDI said “This contract showed the competitiveness of G2 engines in the European agricultural machinery market,” and “we will expand the areas of export in Europe by diversifying the engine lineup and increasing competitiveness of the battery pack.”
HDI is planning to hold a discussion with Keestrack, the holding company of Goldoni based in Belgium to supply diesel engines and full hybrid engines and battery packs for electric tractors, expecting to get more engine supply contracts.
EIMA is top 3 agricultural machinery exhibitions* started in 1969 joined by 300,000 visitors from 160 countries all over the world.
* Agritechnica in Germany, EIMA in Italy, AgroExpo in Turkey
