Doosan Infracore announced on 13th that it had signed a deal to supply its articulated dump trucks (ADTs) to Saudi Arabia and Poland.

Doosan Infracore recently signed a sales contract with a Saudi Arabian construction company for ten ADTs, which accounts for almost half of the country’s average orders for ADTs in any given year, coming hot on the heels of the contract to supply five ADTs to a coal mine and aggregate business in Poland.

ADTs are large heavy-duty dump trucks that are used in rough terrain such as mines and quarries. Doosan Infracore's ADTs boast outstanding stability and a firm grip based on the company’s special refraction system, which evenly distributes the load across the whole truck.

Doosan Infracore has worked at improving its sales and product competitiveness in a bid to expand its global presence in the ADT market. Notably, it has been providing its innovative service solution, DoosanCARE,* to major builders in Saudi Arabia since 2015.

*DoosanCARE refers to Doosan Infracore’s integrated service solution in which its construction equipment experts visit the construction sites of its clients to offer them tailored equipment maintenance, training and consulting services.

Doosan Infracore also announced that it has strengthened its ADT lineup by launching a new product featuring improved durability, suspension and overload prevention systems. It is this new model for which the company won a contract to supply five units to a Polish firm.

Doosan Infracore plans to increase its ADT sales by more than 20% YoY this year.

“Doosan Infracore’s excavators and wheel loaders have ranked first or second in terms of market share in the Saudi Arabian market, but the country’s ADT market has long been dominated by U.S. and Japanese firms,” said Kwanhee Jeong, managing director of Emerging Markets Sales. “On the back of the latest success, we will continue to work hard to win additional large-scale orders in the region.”
