Doosan Infracore has received an A+ rating in the overall Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) evaluation conducted by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS). The KCGS has awarded the A+ rating to only 11 of 727 domestically listed companies in 2018. This is only the second time that Doosan Infracore has received an A+ rating, the first time being in 2012.
Each year the KCGS studies and conducts a comprehensive governance evaluation of domestically listed companies for the purpose of improving their governance, and announces their ESG scores and grades.
This year Doosan Infracore has received the A+ grade in two areas – Environment and Social – and another A+ grade in the overall evaluation.
In the environmental sector Doosan Infracore has been highly recognized for its constant efforts in the areas of environmental management, environmental performance, and response to stakeholders; while in the social sector it has been recognized for its achievements in the areas of employment, working conditions, health and safety, fair transactions with consumers, and participation in local communities.
Furthermore, Doosan Infracore has been incorporated into the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) Korea, which evaluates sustainability performance in Korea, for the ninth consecutive time since 2010.
