Doosan Infracore's mid-sized excavator DX300 series is selected as the best product in terms of equipment maintenance.
On November 8, EquipmentWatch, a company that provides data for a whole range of heavy equipment, announced that Doosan Infracore's DX300 series was selected as the winner of the 2017-2018 Lowest Cost of Ownership Awards (LCO Awards) in the medium crawler segment (21.1-50 ton).
According to the announcement, the DX300 series was evaluated to spend US$225,403 on maintenance for five years on the basis of an average annual operation of 551 hours. The series was selected as the best product in the mid-sized excavator segment for its lowest five year total cost of ownership among a number of competing products.
The LCO Awards, the latest installment in the EquipmentWatch Awards program, recognizes heavy equipment with the lowest five year total cost of ownership in 15 product segments such as excavators, loaders and backhoes. EquipmentWatch objectively estimates the useful lives and residual values of over 17,000 construction equipment models from around the world.
Along with DX300 series, Doosan Bobcat MT 55 series (compact track loader) and S70 series (skid steer loader) were also chosen as the LCO award winners in their respective segments.
