Doosan Infracore has won the gold prize in the two categories of 'Manufacturing: Equipment & Supplies' and 'Green/Environmentally Sound Annual Reports' at this year’s ARC Awards,* which are sponsored by MerComm Inc. of the United States, a company that specializes in evaluating corporate annual reports.
The ARC Awards, which have been held for the last 31 years, are the world's largest contest for corporate reports, with more than 2,000 reports from 33 countries competing for global recognition this year.
Doosan Infracore won the gold prize in the two categories of 'Manufacturing: Equipment & Supplies (Non-English Annual Reports)' and 'Green/Environmentally Sound Annual Report' for its 2016 Integrated Report published in June, which it submitted to MerComm for the first time this year.
"We have been honored with these prestigious awards for the simplistic and explicit design of our 2016 Integrated Report and the integrity of the information it contains," declared an executive of Doosan Infracore. "With this report we aimed to inform our internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, customers and employees, of the current status of our business performance in the most effective and transparent way possible."
Since 2012 Doosan Infracore has published its integrated annual report in three languages, Korean, English and Chinese. The Company also won the 'Platinum' award, the highest honor, at the U.S. LACP 2016 Spotlight Awards in the printed media category for its 2015 Integrated Report.
